A year in Dnepropetrovsk
An American volunteer in UkraineExplanation of photos
There were too many photos in the first blog entry, Праздник Днепропетровска (the city’s holiday), so unfortunately, you have to click on each individual picture to view its caption and description, as well as a slightly larger version of the picture itself. If you click on the picture yet again, it will open a full screen version of just the image itself, without caption. I ask you to please take the time to look at these pictures, because the story is all in the captions and descriptions. The rest of the posts so far have only a few photos associated with them, so I was able to insert them directly in the post. If you click on them, you will see the full screen version on your screen. Use the back button of your browser to return to the blog.

Hi!
Are you still in Dnipro? Found your site through Google.
I live in Chicago and am going there to meet a friend. I depart on Dec. 23rd and return on Jan. 7th.
I’d like to watch a cultural show (most anything but opera). Any ideas?
I like your blog. Keep up the good work!
Alex
